Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Michael McCaul (TX-10) sent a letter to the Departments of Health and Human Services and Defense after hearing troubling reports of delayed or cancelled vaccine appointments for U.S. troops and their families stationed at home and abroad.
Reportedly, some U.S. military hospitals are experiencing significant delays in supplies of the vaccine, which has caused appointments to be cancelled, leaving many American military officials vulnerable to COVID-19.
Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Michael McCaul (TX-10) sent a letter the House and Senate leadership asking that vaccines be readily available for teachers and childcare workers to ensure they can safely return to school and childcare.

Washington, DC – Today, U.S. Congressman Michael McCaul (TX-10) cosponsored a bipartisan resolution led by Congressmen Steve Womack (AR-03) and Seth Moulton (MA-06) to honor and thank the U.S. National Guardsmen and women who bravely protected the Capitol throughout the week of the 59th Presidential Inauguration. More than 26,000 members of the National Guard – including over 1,000 from Texas – came to Washington, D.C. to ensure a peaceful transition of power. Washington, D.C. – Congressman Michael McCaul (TX-10) joined Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy and several other House Members to express strong opposition to President Joe Biden's recent executive order that implements a 60-day moratorium on new mining, oil and gas leasing, and permitting on federal lands. WASHINGTON, DC – Below is a statement from Congressman Michael McCaul (TX-10) on today's vote to impeach the president.
"Let me start by saying I strongly condemn the president's rhetoric and his behavior. I understand, having witnessed these events first-hand, that emotions are high; but this decision must be based on facts and evidence.
"Let me also say, there very well may have been impeachable offenses committed leading up to, and on, that tragic day.
