"I am heartbroken by today's tragic news that seven uniformed members of the Multinational Force and Observers, including five American citizens, were killed in a helicopter crash in Egypt's Sinai Peninsula. I extend my condolences to the family and friends of these brave individuals.

Washington, D.C. – Today,Congressmen Michael McCaul (TX-10) and Eric Swalwell (CA-15) introduced the bipartisan Homicide Victims' Families Rights Act of 2020, to equip the families of homicide victims with the tools to work with law enforcement in federal cases.

McCaul and Swalwell are both are former prosecutors: McCaul was a federal prosecutor and a Texas deputy attorney general, while Swalwell – a member of the House Committee on the Judiciary – was an Alameda County (Calif.) deputy district attorney.

Washington, D.C. – Today,Congressman Michael McCaul (TX-10) joined Representatives Susan Wild (PA-07), Brian Fitzpatrick (PA-01), Mary Gay Scanlon (PA-05), Alcee Hastings (FL-20), and Ron Wright (TX-06) to introduce the Jenna Quinn Law, which would allow current grant funds to be used to train and educate students, teachers, caregivers, and other adults who work with children on how to prevent, recognize, and report child sexual abuse.
