"It is unfortunate that two weeks ago this administration missed an opportunity to remove Gadhafi from power without the need for extended and costly US military engagement in Libya. More options for the swift removal of Gadhafi from power should have been considered earlier to neutralize the atrocities leveraged against his own people.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Semiconductor Industry Association, which represents 60 companies accounting for 90 percent of semiconductor production in the United States, awarded Congressman Michael McCaul (R-Austin) with the 2011 SIA Congressional Leadership Award.

Rep. McCaul joined Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren (D-CA) and Senator Oren Hatch (R-UT) receiving the industry’s distinct recognition.
