This package will not only provide relief to victims of Harvey, it will allow Texas to move forward on several crucial flood mitigation projects, like the Cypress Creek Reservoir Project, to prevent future disasters. Texas and Florida congressional delegations joined forces to significantly increase the original $44 billion funding request from the Office of Management and Budget.
