AUSTIN - In light of President Obama's intent to close the terrorist detention center at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, Congressman Michael McCaul has co-sponsored H.R. 630, the Enemy Combatant Detention Review Act, to prevent the relocation of any of its detainees to the United States.
“It makes no sense to address what to do with the millions of people in this country illegally until we regain control of our borders and stop the flow of illegal crossings and drug smuggling. We need more funding and resources for our border sheriffs who are outmanned against Mexican drug cartels.
