Statement from Congressman McCaul in response to today's ruling by the Government Accountability Office (GAO)

"This is a great day for BAE, its employees and for Texas. The GAO has upheld what we have claimed from the beginning – that the Army’s evaluation was flawed and that Oshkosh’s bid to build the FMTV was not realistic. Through my close working relationship with BAE I have always maintained that the Sealy workforce produces the world’s finest trucks. Based on the GAO’s ruling they should get a fair shot at a new and fair competition. As has been customary, I look forward to assisting BAE in any way the company requests. I want to thank the members of the Texas delegation who worked with me in a bipartisan way to make sure BAE’s appeal was heard."
