McCaul Statement on House Vote to Defund Obama Executive Amnesty WASHINGTON, DC –Today following the U.S. House of Representatives vote to defund President Obama's executive orders on immigration Congressman Michael McCaul (R-TX) released the following statement: McCaul: "Today, along with 235 of my colleagues, I voted to block funding to the President's unilateral and unconstitutional executive amnesty. I supported the legislation because I agree with my constituents who are overwhelmingly opposed to the President's actions. I hope the Senate will also pass the legislation and send a resounding message to the President that the American people and their representatives are opposed to not only his policies, but his desire to govern unilaterally." ### |
