McCaul Slams Biden’s Potential Ban on Gas Stoves

WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Representative Michael McCaul (R-Texas) released the following statement on reports that the Biden administration is considering a ban on gas stoves, which are used by 40 percent of Americans.

"Since taking office, President Biden’s policies have driven up energy costs to record highs. Families today are paying 35 percent more to heat their homes compared to just two years ago. And now, instead of trying to help Americans through the inflation crisis he created, his administration wants to ban our gas stoves. It’s clear President Biden prioritizes his radical energy policies over the needs of the American people. Texans won’t stand for it."
