July 3, 2018

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Michael McCaul (R-TX), Chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee and a senior member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, was selected by Speaker Paul Ryan to be a member of the House-Senate conference committee for the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).

Congressman McCaul: "I am grateful for this opportunity to support the brave men and women who wear our nation's uniform. As the proud son of a WWII B-17 bombardier, I have long admired these heroes who selflessly serve our nation and the sacrifices they have made. Throughout my tenure as Chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, my top priority has always been providing the United States with the best national security policies and practices. As a NDAA conference committee member, I will ensure we provide our military with the resources and equipment they need to defend our nation's security and I thank the Speaker for giving me this chance to serve."
