McCaul Elected to Continue as Homeland Security Chairman

WASHINGTON, D.C. – House Republicans have selected Chairman Michael McCaul (R-TX) to continue to serve as Chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee in the 115th Congress. Chairman McCaul, in his third term as Chairman, will continue working to secure our borders, block terrorist pathways into the United States, protect against cyber attacks, and prevent terror attacks on the homeland. Today, the House Republican Conference voted to confirm the GOP Steering Committee’s recommendation that McCaul continue to serve in this critical national security position.
