AUSTIN, TX–Today following the news that Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia passed away at the age of 79, Congressman Michael McCaul (R-TX) released the following statement:

McCaul: "Today our country has suffered a great loss. Justice Scalia was a champion of our constitution and a protector of liberty. His approach to the rule of law and his time on the bench are exactly what the founding fathers envisioned.
