McCaul Statement on Fort Hood Shooting

WASHINGTON, DC – Tonight, following the tragic shooting at Fort Hood Army Base located in Killeen, TX, Congressman Michael McCaul, who represents Texas' 10th Congressional district and serves as Chairman of the Homeland Security Committee, released the following statement.

McCaul: "For the second time in five years Fort Hood has been struck by tragedy. As a central Texan, this hits hard and hits home. While we do not yet know how many were tragically injured today, we do know that brave heroes ran to their aid. I join all Americans in offering my thoughts and prayers during this tragic time to those affected by this shooting, especially the victims and their families."
